Flynas Airlines is a private low-cost airline in Saudi Arabia with its headquarters located in Riyadh. It is the first low-cost airline in Saudi Arabia and was formerly called Nas Air. Nas Air was founded in 2007 and started operations in the same year, in 2013 it was renamed Flynas. 

The main centres of its operations are King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah, King Fahd International Airport in Dammam and Prince Mohammad bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Madinah. The airline flies to 35 domestic and 53 international destinations in the Middle East, Asia, Europe and Africa. It operates 1500 flights per week to various destinations.

In 2012, the airline signed a codeshare agreement with Etihad and in 2016, the airline signed a codeshare agreement with Pegasus Airlines. In 2020, the airline joined the International Air Transport Association (IATA).

Flynas Airlines operates a fleet of 63 modern aircraft. The fleet comprises 45 Airbus A320neo, 13 Airbus A320ceo and 4 Airbus A330. The Airbus A320neo is an eco-friendly aircraft and delivers 20% fuel savings, 50% noise reduction and lesser CO2 emissions. This results in lower fuel consumption.

The Airbus A320ceo is an enhanced version of the Airbus A320neo. The Airbus A330 is a wide-body aircraft and is a two-engine jet. All the aircraft offer premium quality seating which allows the passengers to fly in comfort at affordable prices. All the aircraft have been specifically designed to provide maximum comfort to the passengers. • Passengers can modify flight bookings for a fee up to 4 hours before departure.

• Passengers are not allowed to cancel bookings.

• Passengers can carry checked-in baggage up to 20/30 kg and a carry-on bag.

Light Class

This class offers comfortable seats with ample legroom.

• Passengers can purchase meals, snacks and beverages onboard.

• Passengers can modify booking for a fee up to 4 hours before flight departure.

• Passengers are not allowed to cancel bookings.

• Passengers are allowed a carry-on bag. Passengers can purchase Extra checked-in baggage as required.

Flynas Baggage Allowance

• Economy Class passengers with the ‘Lite’ fare type are allowed one carry-bag of 7 kg. 

• Economy Class passengers with the ‘Value’ fare type are allowed checked-in baggage of 20 kg (domestic flights) or 30 kg (international flights) and a carry-bag of 7 kg.

• Economy Class passengers with the ‘Plus’ fare type are allowed checked-in baggage of 30 kg (domestic flights) or 40 kg (international flights) and a carry-bag of 7 kg.

• Premium Class passengers can carry 2 pieces of checked-in baggage weighing 20 kg each and a carry-bag of 7 kg.

Flynas Web Check-in and Boarding Pass

Passengers can web check-in using the airline’s website or mobile check-in using the airline’s app. At the airport, the baggage can be dropped off at the Bag Drop counter. The rules for Flynas online check-in are as follows:

Check-in Flynas Domestic Flights

Passengers can web or mobile check-in 48 hours to 1 hour before the flight departure. Enter booking reference and email address or last name to web check-in. Boarding passes can be saved and downloaded. 

Check-in Flynas International Flights

Passengers can do web or mobile check-in 48 hours to 2 hours before the flight departure. Open the mobile app and enter the details required to check-in. Boarding passes can be saved on the mobile.

Flynas In-flight Services

Passengers can pre-book meals, snacks and beverages at least 12 hours before the flight departure. Special kid's meals are also available. Passengers can also purchase meals, snacks and beverages onboard from the Sky menu. Passengers can select preferred seats for a fee like seats with extra legroom, front row seats, ladies-only seats and more. Passengers can buy airport lounge access if required.

Flynas Frequent Flyer Programme: Nasmiles

The airline offers a Frequent Flyer program called ‘Nasmiles’. Passengers can earn SMILE points by booking flights, purchasing excess baggage, selecting seats and purchasing lounge access. Passengers can earn 1 value point for every 1 SAR spent. SMILE points can be redeemed to get benefits like booking flights, selecting seats, knowing about exclusive sales, getting discounts on excess baggage and more. The Tier statuses offered are Basic and Prime which offer exclusive benefits.    

Flynas On-board Support

The airline assists passengers with special needs like expectant mothers, passengers travelling with children or infants and young passengers travelling alone. Passengers with mobility problems are provided wheelchair assistance during check-in and up to the cabin. Passengers should book a special service while making bookings.
